Resolutions

Kaleidoscope turns

makes me dizzy

rainbow mesmerizes

colors come alive

a fine needle

of a black hole

from nothingness

to somethingness

lost in

a pool of thoughts

I wonder about

existence

mistakes and regrets

enmeshed with success

triumphs and lessons

life well-lived or

by default

when I am down

I make plans

for betterment

then take things

for granted and fail

some have a path

it doesn’t bifurcate

a clearing of fairytales

one destination

where fog isn’t invited

others juggle

many pots

boiling over

at different times

spiritual awakening

defibrillated

play detective

with purpose
