Moonlight

Lightbulb in the sky

protective peaceful presence

hope allowed to stay

Daylight in the night

owls ready to hunt at last

a mouse, a small feast

In the forest deep

a girl with bow and arrow

Goddess of the Hunt

She commands the owls

a head turn, a simple glance

her army of knights

Regal Artemis

the tall trees surround her plight

wise beyond her years
